I was brainstorming about your format and this is what I would come up with. Heavy on anti-creature because it's the main win condition in this format. 4 Plowshares, 2 Wrath, Control Magic, Balance and Maze of Ith as anti-creature cards. Counterspells and Mana Drain as answers to threats like Channel Ball and Armageddon. Feldon's Cane and Millstone are used to edge out opponents in control mirrors. Sylvan Library provides powerful card drawing against slow control decks. Use Land Tax to shuffle your deck. Neat little combo. The goal is to grind them out. Use your counters to stop Feldon's Cane and such. Regrowth and Recall provide some insurance if the opponent is using the same strategy. You should aim to get Feldon's Cane back. In these mirrors it probably goes down to the one who decks out first. In other match-ups they are primarily used to get back cards like Ancestral Recall and Balance. Icy Manipulator is useful in various match-ups. It's a little bit clunky so I would only use one.
The lone Candelabra is used to color fix but most importantly to get two activations out of Library of Alexandria, should you draw both of them.
The sideboard would include cards like extra copies of Ivory Tower, a Forcefield, a Circle of Protection: Red, two extra Millstones, Blue Elemental Blasts, a Moat, a Meekstone or two, extra Disenchants and Maybe Karma or something.
